These pieces are further explorations into instant film. Although not as iconic as the Polaroid, Fuji makes instant film, with the permission of Polaroid, called Fuji Instax. At one point, this was the only available instant analog film. These films perform more like "traditional" 600 film, but the format ranges from "mini" to "wide", which has never solidified itself in the US. Although Polaroid has now co-opted the format as the Polaroid 300, the Fuji Instax film has survived as a viable option for instant film shooter. For me, it provides another type of material to create work with.
